In order to maintain the highest possible standards of care for the children we place, we offer a fully comprehensive and ongoing training programme.

Our training sessions are regular and cover all aspects of foster caring and working with young people, from managing challenging behaviour to first aid and child protection. Some of the sessions are mandatory and some are optional, however all carers and sessional workers are welcome and encouraged to come along.

Our training is constantly under review and we do everything we can to offer training that is relevant to the changing needs of our carers and children. We also have a consultant therapist/behavioural expert who is on-hand to offer one-to-one support and training when it's needed.
