YOUNG PEOPLE’S EVENT
We had a fun filled morning jam packed with games, arts & crafts and photo booth mayhem! We also had an opportunity to consult with the children about their experience of foster care…

‘I love my foster family because they take care of me’. (aged 10)

‘I like my foster family because they are kind and take me on holiday’. (aged 9)

‘I like being in foster care because I get my new room’. (aged 8)

‘The best thing about my foster family is going out and doing fun stuff’. (aged 11)

The staff are allowed to have fun too…

CARDIFF HALF MARATHON
CONGRATULATIONS on 3 staff members who ran the Cardiff Half Marathon on the 4th October. Over £500 was raised for Diabetes and Clic Sargent. To further add to the fundraising total, please click on the links below…

MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING
Who knew we had such good bakers?!
We had such a lovely coffee morning here at FCGW raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Thanks to the FCGW team, we raised £85.30!!!!

CARER’S APPRECIATION DAY – 24th November – Copthorne Hotel.
We invite all our foster carers to come to a day where we have the opportunity to show our appreciation for the high standards of care that our foster carers provide. It also allows us to recognise those foster carers that have been fostering with FCGW for over 5 years.
